For retinol beginners:
- Make sure you give yourself an adjustment period when starting to use a retinol product.
- Retinol can increase skin sensitivity to sunlight, so be sure to use sunscreen every day, especially in the morning and re-apply during the day.
- As a general precaution when using a retinol product, it is advisable to avoid using the following products in the same skin care routine when using retinol.
