De:maf's founder, Regina, embarked on a transformative journey that reshaped her understanding of skincare. After extensive research, she made a groundbreaking discovery: all these issues were linked to one fundamental problem, the compromised skin barrier.

This realisation was an eye-opener for Regina. She felt a wave of frustration wash over her; why wasn’t anyone talking about the importance of skin barrier health? Determined to spread the word, she made it her mission to educate others about this often-overlooked aspect of skincare. With the support of our amazing community—affectionately known as Dearies—De:maf was born.
