Formulated with 5% niacinamide and 5% arbutin, COS DE BAHA Arbutin Niacinamide Serum is a brightening serum revitalise dull, tired skin, evens out skin tone and helps fade hyperpigmentation and age spots.
It also contains hyaluronic acid to provide an extra hydrating boost.
Arbutin is an antioxidant and may be derived from plants (most commonly the bearberry plant). It is the natural version of hydroquinone to help prevent and fade visible dark patches, acne scars, blemishes and pigmentation. Bearberry plant extract target dark spots by reducing unwanted pigment from cropping up and fading stubborn dark patches at the same time.
Arbutin’s main benefit comes from the fact that it naturally breaks down into hydroquinone (which is known to inhibit excess melanin). This allows it to even out skin tone and minimise blotchy/patchy spots that are caused by factors such as unprotected sun exposure.
Arbutin can also be combined with other skincare ingredients to maximise its efficacy, for example, with an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) to exfoliate skin and facilitate its absorption of arbutin. When paired with Vitamin C, arbutin imparts even skin tone with improved radiance.

HOW TO USE
- After cleansing, prep the skin with the toner.
- Dispense 1-2 drops on hands or directly on the face.
- Spread evenly on the face and gently pat to aid absorption.
- Can be used day and night.

Is your skin sensitive? We recommend to mix this serum with other serums or moisturisers. If your skin has fully adapted to the ingredients, you can expect faster results with only the product in question.
