COS DE BAHA LS Lactic Acid 12.5 Serum contains AHA lactic acid commonly derived from milk. Lactic Acid is one of the gentlest AHA, more gentle than powerful glycolic acid. It gently exfoliates dead skin cells and softens rough or scaly skin, revealing a clearer and brighter skin. Lactic acid is a component of the skin’s natural moisturising factor, or NMF, which is a blend of compounds naturally found in the skin that helps it hold on to moisture, so it also offers hydrating benefits as well. Combined with aloe vera and green tea extracts, this serum provide soothing and antioxidant effects to the skin.

This serum helps minimise and fade the appearance of scars, improves skin elasticity and provides hydration and moisture to the skin. Additionally, AHA stimulates collagen production, helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and hyperpigmentation in the skin by increasing cell regeneration. New cells replace older and damaged ones, exposing a younger skin surface.

Vegan friendly. Cruelty free. Free of alcohol, parabens, sulfates, artificial color and fragrance, mineral oils and dimethicone.

HOW TO USE

1. Apply on clean skin.
2. Using the dropper, apply 2-3 drops on the skin. Gently spread over the face.
3. A mild tingling sensation is normal.
4. Enough to use 2-3 times a week (for starters, use 1-2 times a week)
5. Can also be applied as a spot treatment where needed.
6. Precaution: AHA may increase skin's sensitivity to the sun. Use SPF every day.
   
7. Avoid using it on days you use retinol since both are potent ingredients. Alternate between the two to avoid potential irritation.
8. This product contains Lactic Acid. Because sensitivity to Lactic Acid varies substantially from person to person, it is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to always patch test the product on a small area before using it. In order to test, apply a small quantity of product on a very limited, dime-sized area behind the ear or under the chin, and wait for 2 to 3 minutes.
