Sebum and other dirt and debris can easily accumulate on the surface of the skin and clog the pores which causes them to stretch and become more visible. Different factors such as climate, pollution, and natural oil levels of the skin can all contribute to enlarged pores. 

AXIS-Y Calamine Pore Control Capsule Serum is a dual care pore serum that controls sebum and relieves inflammation for smooth skin texture with tightened pores. It is a pore tightening serum which helps to improve the appearance of enlarged pores caused by excess sebum production, through key ingredient CALAMINE and two plant-derived complexes which include pore tightening ingredients. This serum also features “Moisture Capsules” which have a skin-conditioning effect to help improve oil-water balance in the skin.

Its core ingredient, Calamine, known as “pink medicine” and prescribed for skin troubles in clinics, contains Zinc, which is important for the function and the maintenance of the skin barrier. It has excellent antibacterial action against inflammation and helps to remove acne irritation by purifying the pores.

The effective technology in the serum is the patented ingredient TANNIN COMPLEX™, which is made up of various plant and fruit extracts. It as excellent sebum control and pore minimising functions, meaning it effectively prevents pore expansion caused by active sebum secretion, helping to maintain healthy skin.

It also contains 6 base ingredients: Centella Asiatica to boost the skin's natural healing process, mugwort extract that cools down heated skin, Broccoli extract rich in Vitamin C and E which helps to lighten pigmentation, Bromelain, an enzyme extracted from pineapple core that gently exfoliate dead skin cells without irritation, Blue Iris extract that soothes and moisturises the skin and helps to tighten pores, and Witch Hazel extract with excellent skin soothing effects to reduce skin troubles and helps tighten the pores.

This is a lightweight and hydrating serum with an almost a gel-like consistency and contains moisture capsules which burst upon application and leave the skin feeling hydrated without any stickiness.

HOW TO USE

1. On cleansed skin, apply a pea sized amount of the serum to each cheek.
2. Spread evenly over the skin and pat in, focusing on the “butterfly zone” where pores are more prominent.
3. Apply an appropriate amount of the cream and spread evenly over the skin.
4. Can be used as the final step in skincare routine or followed with a moisturiser.
