DR. ALTHEA Gentle Vitamin C is a beginner friendly, gentle, daily serum designed to combat dark spots and improve skin tone, ideal for sensitive and acne-prone skin.

Formulated with 5% niacinamide, vitamin C derivative 3-0-ethyl ascorbic acid, and 20% Sea Buckthorn or Vitamin Tree fruit extract which contains more than 3.2 times vitamin C than that of lemons, this serum delivers a high level of antioxidant Vitamin C to the skin that improves overall skin complexion, address hyperpigmentation for a more even skin tone, and inhibiting melanin production for radiant, bright skin.

Tailored for sensitive skin, the serum’s minimalistic composition of only 19 ingredients eliminating acne triggers, is fungal acne-safe, and with the addition of 2% green tea leaf water for calming and soothing effects to irritated/sensitive skin. It also combats signs of premature aging like fine lines and wrinkes with allantoin and adenosine.  

Its innovative moisturising oil capsule system safely preserves vitamins even at room temperature and maximizes the effectiveness by aiding the absorption of active ingredients when applied to the skin. As the oil capsules spread to the skin, they delicately break, forming a subtle and natural moisturising barrier for a truly refreshing deep hydration, which in turn improves skin elasticity and firmness.

It has a watery, non-sticky texture that quickly absorbs, making it easy to layer.

HOW TO USE

1. Cleanse your face and prep skin with toner.
2. Apply a moderate amount evenly over the face and pat lightly for better absorption.
